COSMETIC PRACTITIONER REGISTER
The CPR is a Voluntary Register founded in 2014, where trained Cosmetic Practitioners (CPs) can be identified by the Public and display their qualifications, insurance details and scope of practice.

Cosmetic Practitioner Clients are (should be) healthy and of rational mind and seen as individuals who exercised their right to voluntarily commission Cosmetic Procedures. They should not be seen, referred to, or treated as “patients” and the “treatment” process, which is not a cure for any condition; life saving or essential should not be referred to as “care”. It is a choice expressed by the Cosmetic Client.
The CPR supports a comprehensive public information campaign; a four year training program to ensure high quality of practical training, equal opportunities for all, and above all equal qualifications in the end of training; a transparent system of registration; mandatory (by statute) indemnity insurance; and regulation by “Rule of Law”.
Medical and Nursing Practitioners should decide if they want to continue to practice medicine or if they want to support the “new” profession of a Cosmetic Practitioner. It can even be argued that someone from a Health, Curative and / or Preventative Profession who practice the “unnecessary” alteration of someone’s features would be, gauged against the traditional Health Care Principles, contravene the basic Ethical Clinical Guidelines of that profession.
After renewing your CPR registration you can download the Self Inspection Questionnaire. After completion of the form and taking pictures or making a video of your clinic, email everything to email@example.com. This will then be filed by the CPR as proof of you having done the inspection which will be useful evidence supporting you in the event of a claim.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE & MEDIATION
Another complementary service the CPR provides to Registrants is information on Complaints Procedure.
If necessary, independent mediators is available at the CPR to provide an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service in cases of disagreement between Client and Cosmetic Practitioner or between Cosmetic Practitioners themselves.

LIFE SUPPORT COURSE
All Professionals potentially dealing with possible Accidents or Life Threatening Events are usually required to do a refresher Life Support Course every year. The CPR offers this as a complementary service to Registrants.
After renewing your CPR registration you can download the Life Support Manual and Presentation. Email (to firstname.lastname@example.org) the CPR your completed (1) Workbook, your (2) Essay on one First Aid subject and (3) a short Video clip of yourself doing mock Chest Compressions on someone. This will then be filed by the CPR as proof of you having done the refresher course which will be useful evidence supporting you in the event of a claim.
